During its participation in the global consumer electronics exhibition CES 2023, MSI revealed an advanced range of its products, including new laptops for creators and professionals from the MSI Creator and Prestige series, along with a distinctive electronic pen.

And according to what was mentioned by the “digitaltrends” website, the second generation of the MSI electronic pen, called the MSI Pen, is characterized by being a smart pen that works with smart devices with touch screens, in addition to that, it can write on paper as well.

The MSI Pen comes with heads that allow it to be used as a pencil for writing on paper, using custom graphite heads, and it can erase writing just like a traditional pencil.

The new MSI Pen 2 can somehow write on both paper and screen without switching or undoing the graphite tip, seamlessly transitioning from being a stylus to a pencil.

The second generation of MSI electronic pens has thin heads that can work on smart screens without scratching the screen. The MSI Pen 2 has two different replaceable heads, the first is a head made of graphite, and the other head is similar to an ink pen.

The MSI Pen 2 supports pairing with mobile devices via Bluetooth technology, and supports the new Microsoft MPP2.6 haptic feedback technology, which features a small motor built into the pen body.

The MSI Pen 2, which weighs 14.52 grams, comes with tilt control for pinpoint accuracy, provides 4.96 levels of pressure, and even tactile feedback.
