He will become the highest-paid athlete in the world.. Details of the Saudi offer to include Vinicius

An informed source told the sports network “ESPN” that Vinicius postponed his decision regarding the possibility of moving to the Saudi League until the summer of 2025, due to his desire to win the Golden Ball award this year.

The source confirmed that the Brazilian winger, whose contract with Real Madrid extends until June 2027 and includes a penalty clause worth one billion euros, has now postponed making any decision regarding his future until the summer of 2025.

The source explained that representatives of the Saudi Public Investment Fund have already contacted Vinicius and Real Madrid regarding a potential deal during the current summer transfer period, although they have not submitted an official offer to the royal club.

According to ESPN, the fund offered Vinicius an annual salary of up to 350 million euros, making him the highest-paid athlete in the world, on condition that he plays for Al-Ahly and then becomes a football ambassador in Saudi Arabia before the World Cup scheduled to be held in the Kingdom in 2034.

The source noted that Real Madrid was not prepared to negotiate the deal this summer for an amount less than the value of Vinicius’s release clause (one billion euros).

The network confirmed that Vinicius’ representatives informed Real Madrid that they are not interested in discussing the renewal of the Brazilian’s contract, as the player wants time to think about his next step during this season.

ESPN reported that there is some hope that Real Madrid will be more willing to negotiate a reduced fee in 2025, when Vinicius has only two years left on his contract.

The 24-year-old Brazilian international is one of Real Madrid’s most prominent players, and has won the Champions League twice and three Spanish League titles with the club since joining the team in 2018.
