The American actor visited our country for the filming of the movie “The Carpenter’s Son”, part of which took place in Megara.

During his stay in the country, he together with his wife and their child stayed in a villa in the area of Aghii Theodori.

Among others, Nicolas Cage, who seems to love Greek cuisine, was with his family, accompanied by his personal security, in a well-known tavern in Piraeus.

The revelation about the actor’s visit to the Piraeus hangout was made known by the owner of the tavern, through a post on his personal Instagram account.

“I had the honor to welcome to the store (Harlekinos) one of the most famous Hollywood actors, Nicolas Cage!!!”, Kostas Kefalas, the owner of the well-known store, wrote in the caption of his post, publishing a series of related snapshots.

Among them, a photo where he poses smiling next to Nicolas Cage, but also a snapshot where the actor is recorded alone at his table, just before the food he ordered began to arrive.

“He liked food, he is a lover of Greek cuisine. He loves Piraeus very much. I welcomed him, he was very kind and simple, he greeted us.
