Al-Marsad newspaper: Citizen Sadiq Al-Marwahn revealed the details of his suffering from narcolepsy, since 2005 AD, in an interview with the “Ya Hala” program on the “Rotana Khaleejia” channel.
He explained, “Since my childhood and until recently, I did not know what the exact nature of my disease was, and I used to see myself as different from others in childhood and adolescence, and I saw myself as abnormal, and he looked at me as a person who likes to sleep for two and three days.”
He added, “I worked in many places, including 5 banks and 5 insurance companies, and in the government sector, I worked in two fields, and my services were dispensed with for this reason. In 2005, the disease took hold, and I went to all specialties and did all the tests, and I have no hereditary diseases or problems.” .
He continued, “In 2004, a doctor suspected that I had a problem with the biological clock, and from here I began to pay attention to the problem of compulsive sleep, and in 2006 I collapsed completely, separated from work and despaired, and I slept for 5 days and 6 days and a continuous week without interruption, and I slept and weighed 80 kilos. I woke up and my weight 70 kilos, and I slept while driving and had two accidents.”
