A man was sentenced to 14 years, two months and 24 days in prison, following certifying the evidence that was presented in the case of the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl, according to the Public Ministry (MP).
The event, which occurred on October 27, 2020, occurred in the vicinity of a farm, which is located in the 5 de Julio sector, in the state of Táchira.
The MP reported that the victim had come forward to report the sexual assault, which was committed at night when she was forcibly taken by the subject to a solitary area.
The young woman was referred to the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences, where it was found that the adolescent had bruises on the left mammary gland and genital injuries due to rape.
Immediately, the security forces arrested the man and at the time of the capture the citizen presented an identity card of another person.
