A 34-year-old former member of the “Cores of Fire“ for attempted homicide by the Northeast Attica Security Sub-Directorate.
The causes of his bloody attack 34 years old a former member of the Cores of Fire against his uncle in Holargos, was sought from the first moment by the police officers who took over the investigation of the incident.
According to information, the 34-year-old attacker told the police that he stabbed his 84-year-old uncle for abusing him since he was 5 years old.
As it has already become known, at noon on Wednesday, the 34-year-old went to his uncle’s house and headed to the living room area, where the victim was.
There, she attacked him with a knife, seriously injuring him in the neck and body. Then the 34-year-old ran away and the victim was taken by EKAV ambulance to the “Gennimatas” hospital for first aid.
A case file has been filed against the 34-year-old for violation of articles 42, 299 of the Criminal Code. “Attempted murder” in conjunction with Law 2168/1993 “Arms Law” and an arrest warrant was issued against him.
On the afternoon of November 1st, the perpetrator was arrested in the area of Cholargos by police officers of the Public Security Department of the Northeast Attica Security Sub-Directorate. The 34-year-old even persistently refused to have his fingerprints taken.
The perpetrator has a criminal past
As it turned out for the perpetrator, in 2011 he was involved in shootings at police officers in the area of Pefki, while his fingerprints were found on the envelopes of the terrorist organization “Conspiracy of Fire Cores”. The 34-year-old entered prison on June 2, 2011 and was held on the following warrants:
1) No. 2929/22-07-2019 consolidated decision of the Single-Member Court of Criminal Appeals by which he was sentenced to a total prison term of 80 years and 18 months, accused of membership in a terrorist organization, joint moral responsibility for the terrorist acts – joint manufacture, supply and possession of explosives and bombs, joint conspiracy for attempted explosion, joint conspiracy for attempted murder of four police officers, joint conspiracy for attempted explosion and attempted explosion, for offenses related to explosives, joint possession of weapons of war, of grenades, ammunition, armor-piercing and explosive projectiles together, preparatory and simple forgery.
2) No. 922/18-6-2018 decision of the Three-member Court of Appeal of Piraeus, 8 months imprisonment, for possession of knives inside the prison,
3) No. 6/27-4-2012 Warrant of temporary detention by the Special Appellate Investigator of Athens, accused of forming a terrorist organization, explosion, supply, possession and manufacture of explosive devices committed and attempted, arson and aggravated damage to foreign property and was released on 10-09-2019
