After the gruesome case of a double homicide in a Bogotá home, apparently perpetrated by a minor, became known on Tuesday morning, July 30, authorities released more details of the incident.

The Army confirmed that the victim is Major Fabián Humberto Bueno Carranza, a 42-year-old man who was still in service to the Army, so the armed forces mourned his death through a statement: “We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the officer, who for years stood out as an exemplary leader, and who had been carrying out duties in the Army Technological Support Command in the city of Bogotá,” they indicated.

It was also learned that, in addition to the 14-year-old minor arrested as one of the suspects in the case, the wife of the older man, who is 37 years old, was also captured and is being investigated by the authorities.

The father and little sister suffered serious injuries that, unfortunately, led to their death at the scene.
