The ex-candidate of the Islam party definitively condemned for his threats and outrages.
La DH learns that on March 10, the Brussels Court of Appeal rejected the appeal brought by the ex-candidate of the Islam party, Philippe Latteur, once morest the sentence imposed on January 29, 2021. Consequently, Philippe Latteur, 55, of Woluwe-St-Lambert, is definitively condemned for having threatened by mail to “gun down” the star journalist and presenter of the JT of the RTBF, François de Brigode.
Latteur was prosecuted for having, on November 29, 2018, threatened François de Brigode with death, if he did not publicly deny certain information disseminated. The journalist was not the only target. For several weeks, Latteur had also posted messages on social networks targeting Ms. Pans, president of the MR section of Woluwe-St-Lambert. Here is an example of what Amélie Pans might read: “Talk to me in the eye, like a real woman. You’re wasting a lot of money, time and my life. Fuck, say. What are you looking for, that I freak out? If you promise that in 2050, we will always be Belgian-Belgians, so you won’t have any problem with me. You should also know that I have been at the CPAS since 2010 and that I am looking for an interesting job: I am counting on you.” Other excerpts are unpublishable.
