The authorities of Al-Ardah Governorate, in southwestern Saudi Arabia, commented on a circulating clip of a person claiming that “the jinn prevented the governorate’s municipality” from implementing the Duqm Mountain View project.

Al-Ardah Governorate responded to the controversial clip by the head of the media center, Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Jabri, who issued a statement published by newspapers, including Sabq and Okaz.
The spokesman said: “Referring to what was circulated on social media regarding the novel “that the jinn prevented the implementation of a project in Jabal Duqm in Al-Ardah Governorate,” we make clear that the published clip was a figment of the imagination of its owner, and what was mentioned has no basis in whole and in detail.
He added: “The mentioned mountain is like the rest of the province’s mountains, and what was narrated regarding it are just lies woven by the owner of the clip.”
He continued, “The governorate’s municipality has implemented several projects at very close distances from the mountain, which is a 60-meter-wide asphalt road that residents and visitors to the province take around the clock, and a public garden project at a distance of 400 meters north of the mountain frequented by visitors daily, the weekly livestock market project, and the slaughterhouse project.” And the project of the fodder market; all of them are adjacent to the mountain from the western side, and there are villages east and west of the mountain inhabited by people, and no one has happened to anything bad from what the owner of the clip mentioned.
