“I’ve been lying to myself for many years because of one person…it’s Julien”. This is how Hilona Gos begins, a former reality TV candidate, who accuses Julien Bert, her former companion met on the set of a show, of domestic violence. In a video which aims not to “condemn” her ex nor to “(self) victimize” but to “tell a truth”, the starlet describes in great detail the attacks that Julien Bert allegedly subjected her to.
Who is Hilona Gos?
Aged 28, this young woman from Corsica made a name for herself by participating in season 2 of “Ten perfect couples” on TFX. A few months later, she met Julien Bert, already known for his assumed role as a seducer, on the set of season 3 of “Princes of Love”, broadcast between 2015 and 2016.
Installation in a house, adoption of dogs, engagement staged during yet another season of this W9 reality show… Viewers and Internet users follow the couple’s adventures on a daily basis, which they chronicle themselves on Instagram or TikTok and who make the tabloids of the tabloids on a regular basis.
Between 2019 and 2022, the public is passionate regarding the breakups and reconciliations of the young couple. But in a video broadcast on YouTube on Sunday, Hilona Gos definitely sweeps away the idyllic, albeit chaotic, image of the couple she formed with Julien Bert. And takes the viewer to a much more sordid reality.
What are these charges?
In her video, entitled “My truth regarding Julien”, more than 37 minutes long, the young woman recounts the domestic violence that the young man, aged 31, allegedly subjected her to. Over the course of their history, their “great” relationship would have become harmful.
Still according to Hilona’s accusations, one evening in December 2019, on the eve of leaving on vacation, Julien Bert would have decided to drink large quantities of alcohol alone. What his companion would have reproached him for, triggering the anger of the young man who would have strangled her and lifted her several feet off the ground. “His look changed, he had black eyes, it was no longer the same person. He raised his hand, he grabbed me, he strangled me. I mightn’t breathe, it only lasted a few seconds, the time he realized, ”she describes.
The starlet would also have had to face a miscarriage, which she attributes in particular to the violent behavior of her former fiancé. An episode of violence would have intervened in Saint-Tropez, while she was pregnant. “Shut your mouth, you big whore,” Julien Bert would have spat at him. “I was so afraid of losing the baby once more, because the first time it was due to stress, that I didn’t say anything. I closed my ears. I make believe that I am tired and that I have to go back to the hotel but he took me by the neck and I had to say that I was coming, ”she says once more.
Hilona Gos explains why she stayed by Julien Bert’s side, in this relationship which she describes as “unhealthy”: “I am silent because I am afraid of what he is going to do to me (…) Julien has not never been aware that he was violent. He was never aware that he had hurt me.
The young woman did not say if she planned to file a complaint.
What answers Julien Bert, his former companion?
Responding, also on social networks, the reality TV starlet swept aside these accusations which he describes as “very serious”. “I will speak briefly, because I will do it a little better later. It’s so weird what’s going on… It’s when everything is going well in my life, when I show myself so fulfilled and happy on the networks, that all that comes out. Whereas you, you have just been left. It is very serious what you are doing! “, he denounces in a video posted Monday on SnapChat.
For him, these accusations are false since Hilona would have done everything so that the couple does not separate: “I am stunned, I slept badly. These are very serious charges! I have read all the comments. With a connection and my phone, I can accuse anyone of anything. So, the first person who accuses someone, we’re going to believe them? She did everything to get back into this relationship, to get back with me. (…) I was the father of his children. When you get out of a difficult relationship, you don’t move heaven and earth to get back into it! This is the best proof.”
It is also not known whether the young man intends to file a complaint for defamation.
The previous ones
This is not the first time that a reality TV candidate has been the subject of such accusations. In December 2021, Illan Castronovo, also a star of the small screen, was accused of violent harassment, exhibitionism and sexual assault by other candidates. Hilona Gos, had accused him, like other young women, Illan, of revenge porn, which consists of publishing intimate photos and videos of an ex-girlfriend.
