A young retiree, residing in Villers-sur-Fère in the south of Aisne, between Château-Thierry and Soissons, killed his dog this Friday, February 17. The animal was discovered around 1:30 p.m. in the garage of the home, surrounded by a pool of blood. It appears that this man, who may have been suffering from depression, had been bitten by the dog on Thursday. He would have slaughtered him.
As the man was alone in the house at the time of the events, only his testimony will reveal the circumstances of the animal’s death.
The gendarmes of the Château-Thierry / Nogentel company have been notified and have opened an investigation, writes L’Union.
The man presented himself at the Soissons hospital center where his wife had been hospitalized. He was in turn, then transferred to the Aisne departmental public mental health establishment (EPSMD) in Prémontré.
A horrible story that unfortunately recalls that of Pantoufle, at home in Wanze. As a reminder, the poor little Maltese Bichon had been offered to fill Roger’s loneliness, before being slaughtered and left to bleed to death by the septuagenarian following a blood stroke.
