A 22-year-old man named Ethan Lee Hallow, of British nationality, was involved in a violent episode that left him detained while he was in Turkey. The fact affected his own father, with whom he had an argument that ended fatally.
Garry James Hallows, 51 years old and father of the young man, in the context of this altercation, was beaten by his own son in a tourist complex in the city of Marmaris. As a result of the above, passers-by had to call an ambulance to take the man to a hospital.
The victim arrived at the medical facility with a serious head injury and his death was later confirmed, which left the community dismayed.
The young man’s statement
In the first instance, when questioned, the young man stated that his father had suffered a fall and that’s why he had ended up with those wounds, reports The Sun.
However, the police suspected that there was something strange in the case, so they decided to check the security cameras of the hotel where they were staying.
He beat him to death
In the images, the young man is seen walking with his father before the argument took place, which ended with Ethan hitting the man in the head twice.
However, after attacking him, decided to walk away from the scene, without giving him any help. Meanwhile, the victim was lying on the floor.
In this way, the victim’s son was arrested and transferred to the local court, while the investigation is carried out, which seeks to clarify the reason that generated the episode.
