**Interview with Giorgos Gavrilos on His Resignation from SYRIZA**

**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Mr. Gavrilos. You’ve recently⁢ submitted your resignation ⁢from your duties‍ as⁣ a parliamentary representative for SYRIZA. What prompted this decision?

**Giorgos Gavrilos:** Thank you for ⁣having me. My resignation stems ‍from my deep dissatisfaction with the direction the party has taken over the last two months. I believe we have⁤ made significant mistakes that need to be ‌addressed, and I felt I could no longer fulfill my‌ responsibilities effectively under these circumstances.

**Editor:** You mentioned ⁣in your statement that you’ll remain in the⁢ party’s parliamentary group. What does this mean ⁢for‍ your future with ‌SYRIZA, and⁣ how do you plan to address the‌ issues you’ve identified from within?

**Giorgos ‌Gavrilos:** I continue to be committed to our principles and to working towards the party’s goals. Remaining in‍ the parliamentary group allows me to offer constructive criticism and help steer us back on course, while also engaging with ‍my colleagues on potential solutions.

**Editor:** Given the internal challenges SYRIZA is currently facing, do you believe your resignation will spark a broader conversation within the party about leadership and direction?

**Giorgos Gavrilos:** I certainly hope so. This is ⁤an opportunity for reflection and dialogue about what we want to achieve as a party. I believe that honest discussions about our missteps and how we can improve are crucial for our future.
