Climate activist smears heroes’ monument with feces
He collected millions for Corona helpers and thus became a hero himself.
Now a woman has smeared feces on the 2020 memorial to British World War II veteran Tom Moore. The 21-year-old climate activist was arrested by the police. She faces criminal damage charges for her shabby and disrespectful action.
With her act, Madeleine Budd wanted to protest against the pollution caused by private aircraft in Great Britain. Why she chose Tom Moore’s memorial is unclear.
It is not the first time that the souvenir has been vandalized, as early as December 2021, chaotic people sprayed it with graffiti.
Moore rose to prominence after raising more than £33million in fundraisers in just a few days in 2020. The money was intended to support the employees of the state health service NHS for their work in the corona crisis.

His return for the donation payments: Just before his 100th birthday on April 30, Moore did exactly 100 walker laps in his home garden in Marston Moretaine (near Cambridge).
A memorial was erected on Thistley Meadow in Hatton (Derbyshire) for his great service and Moore was knighted by the British Queen.
He died in February 2021 at the age of 100. (shü)
