An American millionaire has caused many Internet users to react by indicating on Twitter that he has offered $ 100,000 to a passenger on a plane to remove her mask.
Steve Kirsch, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur believed to be behind one of the first optical mice for computers, said he made the proposition to a woman sitting next to him in first class on a company flight. Delta.
Mr. Kirsch says he told his seatmate that the masks did not work, saying the woman worked for a pharmaceutical company.
The entrepreneur allegedly argued that the passenger was going to take off her mask to eat her meal anyway; what she did when lunch was served, points out Steve Kirsch.
The millionaire mentions having started by offering $100 to the woman. Then, faced with her refusal, he allegedly raised the bid to $100,000, but his seatmate never yielded to Mr. Kirsch’s request.
I am on board a Delta flight right now. The person sitting next to me in first class refused $100,000 to remove her mask for the entire flight. No joke. This was following I explained they don’t work. She works for a pharma company. pic.twitter.com/Q8Hwzhkmxf

On Twitter, while some supported Steve Kirsch’s approach, others found his behavior rather questionable.
Here are some of the reactions received:
“Is it your habit to offer money to a stranger so that she discovers a part of her body in mid-flight?”
“It’s very weird, don’t you understand? Everything is in this story: the request, the way to do it and the idea of relaying everything on Twitter.
“How does his mask bother you?”
“There are cheaper ways to let people know you’re a jerk.”
“All you’re doing is admitting that you harassed and patronized a woman who made a decision she felt was best for her.”
