José Leandro Sánchez Ortega, 24 years old, was identified as the man who decided to make a tragic decision because his long-time partner refused to have sexual relations, an event that occurred in the Los Chorritos sector, via la Esperanza, Las Tejerías, Santos Michelena municipality, east of the state of Aragua.
Official sources said that in the first investigations of this case, they pointed out that the 23-year-old wife told the officials that for years José Leandro had been suffering from depression because he was always arguing with his partner because she did not want to have sexual relations with him. This was the reason why the man asked her to leave the house because there was no reason to continue the relationship.
Hours later, to avoid further arguments, the woman began to gather her clothes and other personal belongings and when she left the house she saw that the man had committed suicide by mechanical asphyxiation. Another investigation indicated that he even sent a text message to the woman and her family, saying that “he wanted to take his life because his partner was gathering his belongings to go to his parents’ residence.”
The woman and her family rescued the body and took it to the Doctor José Gregorio Hernández Hospital in Las Tejerías, but it was too late, as the body was no longer alive. The body is now in the Caña de Azúcar morgue.
