The “Yemeni Muammar”, nicknamed “Dhul-Qarnayn”, has been leading searches on the social networking site “Facebook” since yesterday, Monday, following his death at the age of more than 100 years.
The Yemeni Muammar Ali Antar passed away yesterday, three days following he underwent the amputation of two horns growing in the front of his head, through cauterization with fire without any medical surgery, according to a video clip published by one of his relatives.
And according to the “Yemen News Now” website, one of Al-Muammar’s relatives said that he died following the deterioration of his health and mental condition, as well as his suffering from symptoms of advanced age, stressing that removing his corneas in this primitive way without performing medical surgery doubled his suffering, which led to his death.
And regarding the story of the horn, which was the reason for the fame of the old man who died at the age of 140, his relative explained that the horn sprouted in his head following he exceeded the age of 100, then it began to grow and hang from the front of his head on his cheeks to align with his mouth, and then it turned round.
