In the hours of this Friday, a new cabinet change was carried out in the Government of Gabriel Boric, with the appointment of Jaime Pizarro as Minister of Sports one of the surprises that the day left.
The “Kaiser”, who in the first Government of Michelle Bachelet was Undersecretary of Sport, came to Mindep to replace Alexandra Benado and will have as its main mission to lead the last stretch of the preparations and the development itself of the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.
Of course, the idol of Colo Colo was not the only soccer figure that was probed from La Moneda. As reported by Radio ADN, Jean Beausejour was in the government folder.
“He was probed. I have information and he was probed. He did not give me the date, but they probed him, ”said journalist Rodrigo Hernández, director of the sports area of Radio ADN, during this Friday’s edition of “The Tenors”.
“It was a phone call. He graciously said he wasn’t available but appreciated the consideration,” she added.
It should be noted that following ending his career as a professional soccer player, Jean Beausejour ventured into the world of communications, being a panelist on sports programs on Radio ADN and on ESPN Chile.
