Blinded by jealousy and alcohol, a man identified as Robert Pino killed his wife Noelis Coromoto Medina Campos, 32 years old, with a machete. The crime began when the subject allegedly arrived home drunk and began arguing with his partner. In a fit of rage, he went to the bedroom and took out a machete, then lunged at the woman’s defenseless body, causing several stab wounds.
The crime was witnessed by the sister-in-law, who answers to the name of Lourdes Rosa Medina Campos, 41 years old, who tried to save her sister, but it was impossible because the man cut off her left hand and left several deep cuts on her body.
Alarmed by what had happened, the neighbors entered the house and managed to rescue Noheli Coromoto’s body and took her to the hospital, but she died a few minutes after being admitted.
The deceased suffered multiple stab wounds, especially in the pectoral region, right arm and parietal area, as well as severe brain damage that resulted in the detachment of the brain mass. Security agencies in Carupano are searching for the aggressor, who fled the scene after committing the heinous crime.
