Eyewitnesses recounted the scenes of the first moments of Hallaq’s attempt to get rid of his life with a razor blade, under the gaze of the people of Omar Mahmoud Street, branching from Al-Manshiya Street, west of Giza Governorate, today, Tuesday.

“Al-Sherbiny” was working normally inside a hairdressing shop, “a barber”, before his condition changed 180 degrees. “He hit himself with a razor and ran in the street.” Eyewitnesses say that everyone was shocked at the time.

The gazes of passers-by and shop owners were directed towards the barber, who recited the martyrdom and then fell to the ground, dripping with blood, so that everyone rushes to his rescue.

The research and investigation efforts supervised by Major General Medhat Fares showed that the barber was going through a state of depression and became a prisoner of it, which caused a change in his behavior recently, which prompted him to take his life in this way, but fate wrote him a new life.

According to the investigations of Colonel Muhammad al-Saghir, inspector of the Haram Division, Major Ahmed Essam and his assistant, Major Muhammad Saud, the barber cut his neck using a “razor blade” to fall to the ground, a few meters from his workplace.

According to security sources, Al-Hallaq is still alive, and he was taken in a car belonging to the ambulance facility to Umm Al-Masrya Hospital to receive the necessary treatment, accompanied by the owner of the shop.

A circulating video clip captured the first moments of the horrific accident, which was widely published on social media platforms.

The short clip captures the moments that followed the young man’s slaughter and his fall to the ground amid an aura of panic that engulfed the residents and passersby alike.
