“He is not a friend of mine…”: Roberto Cox stopped José Antonio Neme in his tracks after uncovering alleged reel nights in London

A particular controversy occurred this week between Roberto Cox and José Antonio Neme. This, following the latter spoke regarding his colleague’s alleged reel night during the days that coincided in London, to where both moved a couple of weeks ago to cover the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

It all started last Wednesday at the Pero with respect. “They said that the London night was his thing. When I went to the hotel, the friend…”, launched the Mucho Gusto animator, without finishing the sentence.

And now, it was Roberto Cox himself who raised his voice and stopped his colleague in his tracks.

“I saw Neme on the last day of coverage, there I ran into him outside Westminster Abbey, working. In 10 days of coverage I came across all the Chilean colleagues who went to work there, except him”, he defended himself in a chat with LUN.

And along the same lines, he added: “I never saw him at night, I don’t know why he said that I filmed so much, I don’t know why he says he knows so much what I did at night. He is not a friend of mine.”

Cox’s response

“When we got together with colleagues from other channels, he never showed up. When I finished the working day with my cameraman we went to eat and on occasion we had something to rest following work. But following working I didn’t have much energy left, ”he added.

In addition, Cox revealed that on one occasion he went outside of his work hours, and also took the opportunity to throw the ball back in Mega’s face.

Finally, Roberto Cox closed his clarification by giving details of his time in Europe. “There I have a very good Argentine friend, whom I had not seen for a long time and I saw him outside working hours without this affecting my work. I don’t know anything regarding the London night, maybe he (Neme) has good data, hahaha, ”he joked.

“I stayed (in a hotel with a colleague) on the outskirts of London, far from the center (…) Perhaps what Neme said now was a misunderstood joke. Every time they called me to dispatch, I was where and when they asked me. I was always there to do my job, ”he concluded.
