He is electrocuted while working at the CFE post

Juarez City.- A man was electrocuted shortly before noon, when he was working on top of a concrete pole owned by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) in front of the United States Consulate facilities in Ciudad Juárez, municipal Civil Protection personnel reported.

Machines 02 and 03 of the Fire Department were sent to Paseo de la Victoria, in addition to Rescue and Red Cross personnel, to attend to the report made by citizens regarding the accident, reported Commander Sergio Rodríguez.

The man was serious when he received an electric shock, he was doing work for a company and was working on top of a pole, he said.

He suffered considerable burns on his arms and legs, but remained on top of the structure, unconscious, until he was lowered by the Firefighters and Red Cross personnel.

Elements of the Road Safety Coordination closed the passage to vehicles on that road, from Teófilo Borunda Ortíz and to the National Army, in both directions.
