The family of Major General Mansour Al-Issawy, the former Minister of Interior, announced the date of the funeral prayer tomorrow from Al-Sayyida Nafisa Mosque, and condolences on Wednesday evening at the Police Mosque in the assembly, who passed away this evening inside a hospital in Dokki following a great struggle with illness.
What many people do not know regarding the former Minister of the Interior is that he holds a master’s degree in Zionism, owns a large scientific library in his house, and follows the movement of selling books with the booksellers in Sur al-Azbekiya and buys them.
The late had assumed the duties of the ministry in the Essam Sharaf government in difficult historical circumstances, succeeding the former minister, Mahmoud Wagdy, who withstood the challenges that Egypt witnessed following the events of January 25, 2011.
The deceased is considered the second Egyptian Minister of Interior following Habib Al-Adly, as he was appointed from March 6, 2011 to December 1, 2011.
