The uniformed man received five shots in the face, which caused his death immediately.
This Sunday night, Ericsson Alexander Cacique Polentine (22), 1st Sergeant of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), accused of raping a teenage girl, was shot dead, according to military sources.
The alleged murderer was identified as JA Rodríguez Pinto (43), father of the allegedly abused girl.
Rodríguez appeared at the Bejuma police station, in Carabobo state, where the official was being held.
Upon arriving at the site, the young woman’s father shot Cacique Polentine five times in the face, causing his death at the site. Immediately, military officials proceeded to arrest Rodríguez Pinto and seize the weapon used in the incident.
Cacique Polentine was assigned to the Bejuma People’s Guard Detachment, Últimas Noticias reported on its web portal.
