The security services in Giza, headed by Major General Medhat Fares, revealed the scenes of a person assaulting his wife and forcibly taking her and her child to Marsa Matrouh.
The Monitoring Unit of the Giza Security Directorate followed the circulation of a video clip on the social networking site “Facebook”, in which a person appears while assaulting his wife at her family’s home and forcibly accompanying her and their child.
Investigations by Colonel Amr Hegazy, inspector of the Talbiya and Urban Division, revealed that there are marital disputes between the person shown in the aforementioned video, a resident of Marsa Matrouh Governorate, and his wife residing in the Imbaba Police Department.
It turned out that when she was in her family’s residence in Talbieh, the husband went to the family home with his brother, beat and injured her, and took her and their child by force.
After codifying the procedures, a mission was able to arrest the accused, and they confessed to committing the incident as indicated, and Major General Alaa Farouk, Director of Giza Security, referred them to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
