**Ellen:** Thanks for having me! Returning home was truly special, especially at this time of year.



**Interviewer:** We’ve heard about the heartfelt welcome you received. Can you tell us more about your arrival and the feeling of coming home after being away for so long?



**Ellen:** It was truly overwhelming.Seeing my family,my mum Una,brother John,dad Eunan – they were all there with huge smiles. Even Oreo, our dog, was decked out in a Santa suit! It was hard to hold back the tears. Being away in new York was incredible, but there’s no place like home, especially during Christmas.



**Interviewer:** we’re sure everyone was thrilled to see you. It truly seems like a truly joyful reunion.



**Ellen:** Absolutely! The best Christmas present I could have asked for. We were all giggling and crying at the same time, sharing stories and catching up on everything we missed.



**Interviewer:** You mentioned a unique surname – Merry. Does it make for some interesting Christmas conversations?



**Ellen:** You’re going to laugh when you hear my surname.It’s Merry, like Merry Christmas!
