A 20-year-old man died from the impact of a bullet in Los Alacranes, Simón Bolívar parish.
He was identified -and recognized- by his father. The boy responds to the name of Yorwimil José Betancourt Blanco and was residing in the Caroní neighborhood, in the Vista Alegre sector in San Félix.
He was allegedly at a party adjacent to the place where he was found dead.
Officials from the Simón Bolívar Police Coordination Center (CCP) went to the site, notifying the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (Cicpc) regarding the crime.
A forensic unit removed the body and began investigations into the case. So far they have not ruled out any mobile.
