A tragic workplace accident occurred on New Year’s Eve at Montgomery Regional Airport in the United States when an employee was allegedly sucked into the engine of an aircraft.
Local authorities say the unfortunate incident happened around 3 p.m., when the still unidentified employee approached one of the two engines. He died instantly.
The plane of the company “Piedmont Airlines” was preparing to take off to Dallas, reported Archyde.com.
The city’s airport was urgently closed given the severity of the crash. At the end of the evening, the activities resumed.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the circumstances leading up to the extremely violent crash.
These organizations under the responsibility of the United States Department of Transportation will publish a first incident report on Monday.
On Twitter, the deceased individual’s employer confirmed the sad news.
