HC Franches-Montagnes offers itself the leader

The sponsors’ evening gives wings to HC Franches-Montagnes. The Taignons overthrew the leader of MyHockey League on Wednesday night on their ice. In Saignelégier, in front of 623 spectators, they dominated Martigny 3-2 following the penalty shootout to celebrate their 5th success of the season. And to think that the Valaisans remained on 5 rank victories and 8 successes in 9 matches. The HCFM signed this feat thanks to goals from Mathieu Brahier in the 12th and Nils Sejejs in the 39th on the power play. They capitulated at the 28th and 57th. Goalkeeper Lucas Gaudreault kept his clean sheet during the penalty shootout, while Arnaud Schnegg and Nils Sejejs converted their attempt. “We all played well defensively and we were opportunistic in scoring on the counter,” analyzed captain and scorer Mathieu Brahier.

Michaël Neininger’s troupe remains 11th and penultimate in the 3rd division standings. She comes back to 6 points from 8th place synonymous with play-off. /msc-clo
