The start of the extra league season brings matches in quick succession, on Tuesday, September 24, the teams will have their fourth match in seven days. Dynamo will present themselves on home ice for the second time, Mladá Boleslav will come to the enterio arena. Pardubice want to get back on the winning streak after Sunday’s loss in České Budějovice, the match against undefeated Boleslav starts at 6 p.m.
Dynamo entered the new season of the Tipsport extra league with two wins, beating Kladno 5:1 at home and then winning 4:2 in Olomouc. However, Pardubice did not add a third win, they did not perform well in České Budějovice on Sunday and lost heavily 1:6.
“There were very few good things, we deservedly lost. It wasn’t the same in the 5-on-5 game or in special situations, we have to improve,” said Peter Čerešňák after the match in the south of Bohemia.
Already on Tuesday, Dynamo will welcome Mlada Boleslav on their home ice and thus have a chance to make amends.
“The matches are coming quickly, we have a chance to fix it. We have to look at it and avoid the mistakes we made,” says Čero.
Young Boleslav had a successful start to the new season. The team from the city of cars won all three matches. First, the Skaters defeated Olomouc (4:2), then they succeeded in Karlovy Vary (2:0) and on Sunday they overpowered Pilsen in overtime (2:1).
Defender Adam Jánošík averages one point per game. In addition, he is, unusually, as a defender, Mladá Boleslav’s best scorer so far. Striker Tomáš Fořt also scored three points in three matches. Dominik Furch caught all three matches in goal and his average save success rate reaches 95 percent.
