HC Ajoie is now under the command of Christian Wohlwend. The 46-year-old Canadian-Swiss coach has signed with the HCA for one season, with an option for an additional season, the National League ice hockey club announced on Friday followingnoon. Coach of HC Davos for the past four years, Christian Wohlwend notably reached the semi-finals of the play-offs with Graubünden. He has also coached the Swiss national teams U19 and U20 and was the assistant coach of the national team between 2014 and 2022. The HCA thus qualifies him as an expert in Swiss hockey “without equal”, “great motivator and fine tactician , both human and academic”. “I am very happy that Christian Wohlwend has signed up with us.
