Lights, camera, tuning and lots of action! This Wednesday, June 14, HBO Max released the first trailer for the new national series entitled “Use Your Voice”, an original Max production co-produced by Cartoon Network and Floresta. The series stars Bia Torres, Giu Nassa and Laura Castro, who also form the musical group BFF Girls in real life and play characters with the same names in the series. It premieres on July 6th on HBO Max.
In the trailer, we can check out some exciting spoilers of what’s to come. The story begins with a musical circle that features some of our favorite characters, such as the music teacher Pete (played by Serjão Loroza), the president of Núcleo Musical Greta (played by Cella Bártholo) and the twin sisters Tamara and Talita (played by Maya and Maíra Aniceto). However, the session is interrupted by a sudden blackout, which will be the starting point for a plot full of mystery and melody.
The blackout occurs exactly on the day of the Núcleo Musical auditions, raising suspicions and accusations. Laura declares to her colleagues: “Guys, it was sabotage”. From that moment on, students and teachers unite to find out who is behind this mystery. The protagonists have the objective of winning the final auditions of the Núcleo Musical of the school Use Your Voice and are determined to solve the mystery and guarantee that the auditions take place.
The trailer preview lets us feel the atmosphere surrounding Use Your Voice College as the Núcleo Musical auditions approach. For everything to go well, the BFF Girls will have to stick together at all costs.
The first season of “Use Your Voice” will have 10 episodes of 30 minutes each, with new episodes being released on Thursdays. Fans are sure to get involved and fall in love with this story filled with mystery, friendship, love and, of course, lots of music!
“Use Your Voice” is a co-production between Cartoon Network and Floresta for HBO Max. The series was created and directed by Adolpho Knauth, with a script by Marina Iorio and musical production by Aureo Gandur.
