Danger from UV radiation on Sunday “medium” to “high”

After Information from the German Weather Service the health risk from UV radiation is again “high” in large parts of NRW on Sunday – but in some cases only “medium”.

“UV exposure is always high when we have a clear, cloudless sky.” Andreas Wagner, ARD meteorologist

One reason for the high UV radiation is of course the high position of the sun in summer, explains meteorologist Andreas Wagner from the ARD weather competence center. In addition: “The bluer the sky, the less moisture there is that blocks the sun’s rays.”
