Hayden Wilde and Georgia Taylor-Brown win Super League stage in Toulouse

For the first stage disputed in France in the history of the Triathlon Super League, Hayden Wilde triumphed in the men’s race this Sunday in Toulouse. The New Zealander raised his arms alone, following making the difference on the bike at the end of the third loop. He is ahead of the Frenchman Dorian Coninx and the Japanese Kenji Nener. With one stage remaining in the competition, Wilde remains top of the general classification and should win the event for the first time.

Taylor-Brown on her way

On the women’s side, Georgia Taylor-Brown doubled the lead following her success in Munich on September 11. The Briton controlled most of the race and is back in the general standings. She will fight for the defense of the title with her rival Taylor Spivey, second this Sunday in Toulouse, during the last stage. Beaten by Sophie Coldwell for third place, Cassandre Beaugrand finished at the foot of the podium.
