Terrible accident off the island of Maui (Hawaii): A vacationer was probably eaten alive by a tiger shark!
The local authorities came to this conclusion following investigating the incident. American Kristi Allen (60) was on vacation with her husband. A snorkeling trip cost her her life!
Accordingly, the accident happened on December 8th. The authorities have now published the results of their investigation. They assume a deadly shark attack!
Allen and her husband had hit the water together, then split up to snorkel at different areas. They only got to see each other from time to time, her husband Blake told investigators.
According to his own statements, he noticed a shark near him regarding 50 meters off the coast – and his wife suddenly disappeared!
Witness saw “red cloud” in the water
He searched for his wife in a panic. Vain. Shortly therefollowing, he might see something red on the shark’s gills – so he described it to the authorities.
An eyewitness on the beach confirmed the man’s statements. And: The witness claims to have seen how the shark “ate something in the middle of a red cloud in the water”. Was it the dead vacationer?
The fact is: there has been no trace of her since the incident! Rescue teams searched for her for 40 hours. In the air and in the water. According to reports, however, they only found scraps of their bathing suit – and their snorkel set.
Shortly therefollowing, a tiger shark was actually sighted in the area. He should have been regarding three and a half meters long.
Kristi and her husband lived in Washington state, she worked as a massage therapist and life coach.
In a Facebook post, she told her friends how much she was looking forward to the holiday: “Chasing dreams! I’ve wanted to learn to surf for years. I am determined to create a life that I love big and small,” she wrote. A few days later she was dead.
