Hawaii 5-0 will soon welcome a special guest, in the person of James Caan, who is none other than the father of Scott Caan, the interpreter of Danny Williams. The news had been announced on January 13 on the official twitter of CBS Television Studios, in the midst of the TCA (Television Critics Association which brings together journalists and critics specializing in television series):
“EXCLUSIVE CAST ALERT! Aloha to James Caan who joins his son Scott in #H50 in February #TCA12”
The former manager of Montecito in Las Vegas will therefore have the chance to make a trip to Hawaii to find Scott there in front of the camera, during episode 18 of season 2, which is scheduled to air in February. Father and son in the city, the two men might remain so on the screen. James Caan had confided that he would accept a role in the series only if he played Scott’s father in front of the cameras.
