Haunted woman on date at 2am finds he robbed her house on viral TikTok

The TikToker Ja passed by posted two viral clips of her neighbor getting her into a crazy dating drama in which a man possessed by a haunted man stole her house.

Ja, who posts under the name @youmeandthetea, said on a dating app that her neighbor had paired up with the man in question and had been chatting for months.

The two were living in different parts of Florida, and the man finally drove to see her, and the two went to eat at a restaurant. He is said to have been “very charming,” as TikToker said, and she speculated that the two must have stayed at the hotel because neighbors weren’t ready to invite him to her house yet.

But following the first night, the neighbor decided to invite the man, and they spent time together. The neighborhood has lakes and boats and they spent time hanging out and drinking together. “I think she pushed her vigilance. Maybe she felt good and brought him home,” said Ja.

In addition to the lake, the neighbor has access to the swimming pool, and she and the man spend time together before going to bed.

When the neighbor wakes up at 2 a.m., she realizes that her date is not with her and when she starts to search the house for him, she sees the front door open.

She also saw that the diamond ring that her departed mother had given her was missing from her finger, and her luxurious handbag, along with other items from her daughter’s room, had disappeared from her closet.

Ja’s neighbor told her the story and asked if she might use the house security camera footage to submit as part of a police report to find out what had happened. Unfortunately, according to Ja, the clip she was able to get from her camera wasn’t very detailed and I doubt it might help with her investigation.

The man apparently gave a fake pseudonym to Ja’s neighbor, but the woman was able to figure out that the man lives in Arizona and his background sounds very brief.

“In Arizona, he has a mile-long lap sheet that basically deceives people. He’s an honest scammer and that’s what he does. This is how he makes a living.”

TikToker also said the man was not arrested or found by authorities but is thinking of moving out of the neighborhood now that her neighbor knows where she lives.

Other users of the platform said they don’t think this is the first time this person has done this until a potential date.

Others said it was a “red flag” welcoming a man from South Florida, and some asked her to provide a photo of the man so others might know he should stay away from him.

“It would not have been his first job to do something like this.”
