‘Hate buffering, don’t care regarding money, make decent apps’; Criticism once morest ‘Jio Cinema’
New Delhi: Criticism once morest ‘Jio Cinema’, an app that streams the Qatar World Cup live. Users complain that they cannot view the match properly due to buffering. The spectators came to complain when the first match of the World Cup between Qatar and Iraq was in progress.
Mukesh Ambani, the owner of the app, is mainly criticized on social media.
‘It doesn’t matter if you have money. Make a courtesy app. People should be able to watch the game without interruption. It’s like trying to watch video on older 2G networks. Don’t tell locals how bad our DD channel was,’ wrote a profile named Jayaram Janardhanan on Facebook.
Anivar Anand’s profile responded, ‘Ambani even took a contract to ruin the Jio World Cup for Indians’.
World’s ninth richest man, Mukesh Ambani, can’t do a smooth #WorldCup streaming with his atrocious #JioCinema app, just as world’s richest man, @elonmusk can’t run a microblogging app ????♂️

As if Elon Musk, another richest man in the world, can’t run a microblogging app,’ N.S. Madhavan’s tweet.
