Taking advantage of CES 2022, the OnePlus 10 Pro showed up in a first official image – followed by other visuals -, before revealing a good part of its technical sheet. In short, there are no longer many mysteries. And to continue on the revelations, the brand now details the photo characteristics of its future champion.

As a reminder, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a camera certified by the specialist Hasselblad. Detail that the Chinese manufacturer does not fail to highlight in its communication. On the back of the smartphone, there is a trio of sensors of 48, 50 and 8 megapixels (wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto). What to expect The contribution of Hasselblad will above all be felt on two points: color calibration and Pro mode.

« OnePlus Billion Color » et format RAW

For colorimetry, the phone prides itself on having a solution called ” OnePlus Billion Color “. The promise: images will look natural in over a billion colors. The OnePlus 10 Pro is the first of the brand “ equipped with a camera system that captures 10-bit color images to provide a more natural and delicate display of colors in each photo ».

TheOnePlus Billion Color Solutionis also supposed to increase the coverage of the DCI-P3 spectrum for color photos by 25%. Each of the three photo sensors rear supports 10-bit color.

If the user activates the Pro mode powered by Hasselblad on the smartphone, he will be able to take pictures in 12-bit RAW format. And this with any of the three rear sensors.

A Raw + mode is also put forward to have« all the advantages of capturing in RAW format with the elements of computational photography of the smartphone“. The OnePlus 10 Pro thus promises even higher quality, better dynamics and more noise reduction in the image.

Wide Ultra Wide Angle and Fisheye Mode

Let’s also take a closer look at the ultra wide angle. This one has a very high field of vision, 150 degrees. It is “four times wider than traditional ultra-wide-angle cameras“. That’s not all, thanks to this, you will also be entitled to a fisheye mode.

The aim is to offer great versatility to the user. Note, however, that on the ultra wide-angle, the OnePlus 10 Pro is largely inspired by Realme GT 2 Pro formalized a little earlier and which the photo unit offers identical functions. Not surprisingly, the two brands are cousins and belong to the same Oplus group. They therefore share various resources, even if it means showing redundancy.

Also note that the ultra wide-angle of the OnePlus 10 Pro can also switch to a more classic 110-degree field of view if you wish, thanks to dedicated algorithms.

Finally, a Movie mode also allows you to shoot while adjusting several parameters such as the ISO level or the shutter speed, even during recording. You can also choose to film in a LOG format.
