Has the Intermarché in Cagnes-sur-Mer, on Avenue Auguste-Renoir, closed? The question was asked on Facebookin the “Cagnes-sur-mer. info” group.
“Intermarché in the city center has closed!”, was moved by an Internet user. Several comments subsequently gave different versions. What is it really? Thierry Maréchal, manager of the Cagnois store, reassures: “We are under construction but we remain open. “The brand has in fact undertaken a complete renovation with “a remodeling of the store, change of windows, lighting…” The work is expected to last two or three months.
In order to load its old windows and unload the new ones, Intermarché obtained authorization from the City, by municipal decree, for the occasional closure of Avenue Auguste-Renoir, on the Square Bourdet side. The next planned closures will take place on Tuesday 3, Thursday 5, Wednesday 11 and Wednesday 18 October, always in the evening, between 8 p.m. and midnight.
A diversion will be provided via rue du Chevalier-Martin. Access to the garage of buildings on Avenue Renoir will not be possible during these cuts but a pedestrian path will be maintained.
