Who Got Captured? The Mysterious 40 and Their Shoulder Straps!
Well, well, well! It seems the Third Assault Brigade in the Kharkov region has given the Russian army a lovely surprise – and not the kind you’d want for your birthday party! They’ve carried out some successful counter-offensive actions and, in the latest twist of events, managed to capture some of these invaders. It’s all rather dramatic, isn’t it? Like an episode of Game of Thrones, but with fewer dragons and more shoulder straps!
Now, I know what you’re thinking – “Who exactly was captured?” Well, we don’t have a name yet, but judging by the photo we have, they might as well have been the cast of The Real Housewives of Donetsk. There’s a soldier holding the documents of these poor invaders. I mean, just imagine the awkward moment when he realizes he’s been “invited” to a very different kind of reunion!
The Ukrainian military is keeping us all on the edge of our seats with this one, teasing us with tantalizing bits of info. They even urged people to guess in the comments who might have been relieved of their shoulder straps. Let’s just hope it’s not too much like guessing who will be the next contestant on The Hunger Games – though the stakes are probably just as high!
The reports suggest that around 40 occupiers were captured, which sounds like a party! Imagine a football team, but instead of playing, they’re caught, wondering, “Is this the new training camp for failed supermodels?” One soldier, Vladislav Datsky – going by the illustrious call sign “Datsik” – is seen holding up those torn shoulder straps like a trophy. You can just hear him saying, “Look what I found in the attic, Mum!”
Meanwhile, over in Ukraine…
And if that’s not spicy enough for you, the Ukrainian military also made a cheeky venture into a training camp where the Russian occupiers were practicing their “skills.” But let’s be honest, their talent show isn’t exactly Broadway material! Meanwhile, those delightful folks in Russia have gone and created a “special Buryat battalion” that supposedly includes some North Koreans. Makes you wonder – is this the start of a very bizarre new sitcom?
Reports suggest that 18 North Korean soldiers have already fled from their positions. I guess they heard the phrase “enemy lines” and thought, “Not today, thank you!” I’d wager they’re currently trying to find their way home using nothing but a poorly taken Google Map screenshot from 2010!
Final Thoughts
So, what can we take away from all this? The Ukrainian forces are certainly keeping the pressure on and making headlines with a bit of cheeky fun thrown in. It’s a little like combining serious politics with a good dose of stand-up comedy – unapologetically bold yet absurdly entertaining. So keep your eyes peeled for the next episode in this ongoing saga and let’s hope Datsik has the next great reveal!
As we continue to monitor the unfolding events in Ukraine, stay tuned and, as usual, leave your comments below. Who do you think is behind all this drama? And for heaven’s sake, let’s keep it light-hearted—after all, they are just shoulder straps away from an entirely different career path!
It is not yet known who exactly was captured.

Soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade carried out successful counter-offensive actions on enemy positions in the Kharkov region, and also captured the invaders of the Russian army.
“The soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade carried out successful counterattack actions on enemy positions in the Kharkov region. The consequences are in the photo from the company commander of Datsik’s friend and the 2nd Assault Battalion,” the press service said in a note brigades.
The military also intrigued the Ukrainians, but did not specify who exactly was captured:
“Who do you think was stripped of their shoulder straps? Write in the comments. And follow the news on the channel, because the most interesting things will come later.”
Judging by the photo published by the brigade, it can be assumed that the Ukrainian defenders captured about 40 occupiers, but there are no other details yet.
