At “Hartz und herzlich” there is great concern for family father Dieter. The Benz barracks resident was sent to hospital with a serious suspicion.
Carmen and Dieter are as much a part of “Hartz and herzlich” as the amen in church. The couple have been living in the Benz barracks in Mannheim for decades and are firmly rooted there. In the RTLZWEI show, the two openly share their lives and have never made a secret of their health problems. Even now, when doctors suspect that Dieter could be seriously ill, they talk about their worries.
Concern in the Benz barracks – What’s wrong with “Hartz and herzlich” Dieter?
The great concern for the family father began some time ago. Recently, on “Hartz und herzlich”, Carmen described how bad Dieter’s birthmark on his back looked. After many announcements and long persuasions, the mother of seven managed to persuade her husband to see a doctor. The results so far have been devastating for the Benz-Barackler.
First he found out that his inflammation levels were too high. Then Dieter’s dermatologist sent him to a specialist at the Mannheim University Hospital with a terrible suspicion: “The suspicion I’ve heard is skin cancer,” says the “Hartz und herzlich” actor worriedly. He regrets not having treated the inflamed mole for over four years.

Carmen at “Hartz und herzlich” has experience with the disease cancer
At the hospital, the doctors take a sample from Dieter’s birthmark. “Now I want to know what they’ll say,” he says anxiously, “whether I have what I think I have.” At the moment, he likes to go to work to distract himself – the “Hartz und herzlich” star fought for a long time for a job. But he doesn’t want to tell his colleagues how he’s doing: “I can’t tell them how I’m really doing.”

His wife Carmen is at least sure; she keeps a close eye on his symptoms: “I know what cancer is, because of my father.” She sees that her husband is afraid and is “keeping his worries to himself.” After much hesitation, Dieter has the mole removed; whether it is benign or malignant is now crucial. But the two of them have to wait another week for the results. (str)
