“I have no desire to live any longer, I have been turned into a walking corpse in the last year and a half. It no longer makes sense to carry this soulless and lifeless body. “There is no longer any purpose left in my life,” she expressed in the letter.

This was sexual abuse

According to local media, the official requested a meeting during the night with a district judge and several of her collaborators. Apparently, this situation was taken advantage of by the men to subjugate and abuse her.

After what happened, the woman immediately reported what happened to her superiors and even to the Cortes, but unfortunately, as usually happens in many of these cases, no one took action on the matter and everything went unpunished. Furthermore, the victim confirmed that she could not present witnesses since they refused to testify against her boss.

The civil judge tried to reopen the case and therefore made the respective request to the Supreme Court. However, after analyzing the request, the Supreme Court finally denied the request, arguing that it did not have sufficient elements to access it.

“Allow me to end my life in a dignified manner (…) I have been sexually abused to the limit. Treated like garbage. “I feel like a worthless insect,” she said.

The official described herself as “dumb” for thinking that being part of the judicial service would help others achieve true justice, especially for women, whom she warned that unfortunately they have to learn “to live with sexual abuse.”

“That is the truth of our lives. Nobody listens to us, nobody bothers. If you report you will be tortured. Be submissive (…) You will get an 8-second trial, threats and insults. You will feel driven to take your life and if you are lucky (unlike me) you will succeed on the first try,” she noted.
