Some of the supporting players in the Harry Potter saga have continued to make their mark in the world of cinema, while others have decided to take different paths, for better, but also for worse in one particular case.

The one we loved to hate as she played Dolores Umbridge, the undersecretary to the Minister of Magic who had a penchant for pink and kittens, played the role of Queen Elizabeth II in seasons 5 and 6 from the Serie The Crown. She thus became the first actress to personify the queen following her death in 2022.
We might also see her in the films Maleficent (2014 and 2019), in which she played the character Knotgrass, a fairy godmother of Cinderella.

The career of the person behind the character of Goyle, faithful friend of Draco Malfoy, took an interesting direction in 2016. After a few very minor roles in British television series, Herdman, who had already mastered jiu-jitsu, decided to try his luck in the octagon. He is still undefeated following two amateur fights.

Bottom of the barrel for Jamie Waylett
After being kicked out of the franchise in 2009 for producing and possessing cannabis, the actor behind Crabbe, who completed a threesome with Goyle and Malfoy, never made another on-screen appearance.

In 2010, Waylett released the music video for the song Be Your Own Man, in which he rapped under the name Bully. It was enough for Internet users to spoil themselves in the comments section of the YouTube video.
“100 points for Slytherin,” comments one listener. “When you drop out of Hogwarts to become a rapper,” says another.

In 2011, he found himself facing justice once more, this time for his part in the riots that broke out in London following a young black man was shot dead by police. He was, among other things, accused of having in his possession a Molotov cocktail while robbing a pharmacy, which earned him two years in prison.
Evanna Lynch, woman of all causes
The actress who played the friendly and colorful Luna Lovegood continues to make her way in the world of gaming, both on screen and on stage, but she is also noted for the energy she puts into supporting social causes and charities.

She is also part of the Harry Potter Alliance, which supported the legalization of same-sex marriages in the state of Maine, in addition to promoting body image positivity.
Lynch is also an ambassador for the Lumos organization, founded by JK Rowling, which was involved with orphaned children in Haiti.
In 2022, the 32-year-old teamed up with Dr. Melanie Joy, a renowned psychologist and author, to put together the podcast Just Beings, in which the two women look at mental illness and the self-destructive behaviors that human beings can have. This is a cause that Lynch ardently supports, having struggled with anorexia shortly before it appeared in the Harry Potter saga.
