In an interview with SPORT1, former Bundesliga manager Michael Reschke commented on possible Bayern newcomer Harry Kane. He praises Kane’s qualities and promises dark years for the Bundesliga.

Michael Reschke is someone who knows the processes of the business and FC Bayern very well and can classify them. The 65-year-old worked as technical director for the record champions between 2014 and 2017 and is currently Head of European Football at the consulting agency ICM Stellar.

SPORT1 spoke to Reschke regarding the possible new superstar from Munich.
“Harry Kane is not only an exceptional goalscorer, but also a very strong striker who can put his teammates in the limelight. For me, Kane is currently one of the top three nines in the world alongside Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé,” enthuses the long-time manager.
Kane change would not be good for Dortmund
Bayern sorely missed a player like Kane following the departure of Robert Lewandowski last season. Reschke believes: “Kane is the perfect man to fill the gap left by Robert Lewandowski.”
On the other hand, he does not predict any hoped-for tension for the Bundesliga in the coming years.
His thesis: “If Kane switches to FCB, the German championship will certainly be decided for years!”
Kane transfer “would be a real statement”
According to their former squad planner, the Munich team can’t just hope for national titles.
“In the event of a Kane transfer, Bayern would also be a serious candidate for winning the Champions League once more,” predicts Reschke.
His conclusion: “The fact that Kane wants to come to Munich shows how much radiance the FC Bayern in European football. This transfer would be a real statement – to the whole of Europe!”
