Royal Memories! Prince-Harry et Meghan Markle has released its 2022 Christmas card – and the holiday greeting features a glamorous couple photo.
“Wishing you a happy holiday season,” the card, which was sent via an Archewell email on Friday, December 16lis.
The duo chose to present a black and white photo of themselves during their recent appearance at the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Gala in New York City.
“From our family to yours,” the post continues. “And on behalf of our teams at the Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio and Archwell Productions, we wish you health, peace and a very happy new year!”
They signed the burgundy card, “Best wishes, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex”, referring to their full royal titles.
The prince, 38, the Combinations alum, 41, surprised fans by choosing not to include an updated photo of their two children: Archie, 3, and Lilibet Diana, 18 months, despite being featured in the greeting of Last year.
Sussex map arrives three days later Prince William et Princess Kate released their family photo for the holidays, which showed the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 40, walking with their three children: Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis , 4 years. The family color is coordinated in shades of blue for the casual yet festive photo, with all five royals wearing jeans.
King Charles III et Reine consort Camilla, for their part, revealed their Christmas wishes on December 11 – the couple’s first holiday wishes since Charles, 74, became monarch. The photo, which shows the duo wearing red and green ensembles, was taken on September 3 at the Braemar Games in Scotland. Queen Elizabeth II died five days later.
“Wishing you a very merry Christmas and New Year,” the king and queen consort, 75, wrote in their well wishes.
Earlier this month, a source exclusively told We Weekly that the first Christmas following the Queen’s death “will be extremely sad” for the family. Her Majesty, however, “wouldn’t want them to mope or prevent everyone from coming together and enjoying the occasion,” the insider added.
Charles will be honoring his late mother over the holidays both publicly and privately, the source continued, noting that The Firm will “share fond memories, raise glasses and likely give speeches regarding the wonderful life and legacy she left behind. The whole family is committed to staying true to their values and continuing the wonderful work they have done during their tenure as monarch.
Meanwhile, the Sussexes – who shared a close relationship with the late monarch – have been at odds with the rest of the royal family since their decision to step down from their senior royal duties in 2020 and then move to the United States. The tension between the two camps has only intensified since the December 8 release of the revealing Netflix docuseries from the Archewell co-founders, Harry et Meghan.
The six-episode special featured the couple – who wed in 2018 – alleging multiple unflattering allegations once morest the Royal Family, including the alleged ‘planting of [negative] stories” regarding him and Meghan.
“There is a hierarchy in the family,” the British native explained in Volume 1 of the explosive show. “You know, there are leaks, but there are also story plantations. It’s a dirty game.
