Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk Roars in Full Reveal Video – Jolie Bobine

Marvel fans have gotten a sneak peek at Harrison Ford’s transformation into the Red Hulk, which has sparked the usual mixed opinions online. Ever since the first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World first confirmed Red Hulk’s presence in the film, fans have been clamoring for a better look at what Ford’s Thaddeus Ross will actually look like as his angry alter ego. Now they have their answer.

As part of a new Marvel Studios teaser that also features glimpses of Daredevil, the Thunderbolts team, and more, Ford’s Red Hulk gets a five-second slot that shows him soaring in front of the White House, as previously described from footage released at San Diego Comic-Con. While the full footage will no doubt appear in the upcoming trailer for the February release, you can see it in the clip below.

Captain America: Brave New World

Captain America: Brave New World (formerly New World Order) marks the big screen debut of Sam Wilson as Steve Rogers’ successor after receiving the suit and shield in Phase 4’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Anthony Mackie returns as the titular Avenger alongside Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Carl Lumby as Isaiah Bradley, and Tim Blake Nelson as the Incredible Hulk’s former ally Samuel Sterns. Harrison Ford makes his MCU debut replacing the late William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross.

However, the reveal has sparked the usual mixed opinions, ranging from those who love that Red Hulk is finally in the MCU, to those who have no idea that a Red Hulk even exists, and one person who just has a problem with Red Hulk’s nipples. You can see a selection of the varied reactions below.

Harrison Ford is ready for his Marvel journey

Harrison Ford is one of those stars who acts like a grumpy old man in interviews and is always ready to give a brutally honest answer to questions he doesn’t find particularly interesting. However, he’s also been around long enough to know when to play along, and that’s exactly what he does in Captain America: Brave New World.

Taking over the role of Thaddeus Ross, who took over from William Hurt, Ford doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would have much interest in being a part of the greater Marvel machine, especially considering some of his recent comments about returning to Star Wars in the sequel trilogy. However, during his appearance at SDCC, Ford suggested that he’d seen other older actors having fun in Marvel movies and that he just wanted to “get a piece of it.” Speaking to Variety at the time, Ford was asked about how he coped with having to pretend to be the Hulk during motion capture on set. He said:

“I had to not care. I had to act like an idiot for money, which I’ve done before. I’m not knocking it, I’m just saying you have to do certain things that normally your own mother wouldn’t want you to do, or your drama teacher if you had one. But it’s fun and I enjoyed it. I had a good time and I’m thrilled with the reaction we’ve had today with the trailer.”

Captain America 4 Star Reveals What It’s Like Working With Harrison Ford: ‘If Anyone’s Spicy, It’s This Man’

Harrison Ford is joining the MCU in Captain America: Brave New World, and star Danny Ramirez has revealed what it was like working with the Hollywood icon.

While there are still nearly six months to go before Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters, it looks like Ford’s Red Hulk is quickly becoming a big reason for fans to go see the movie in theaters. Hopefully, they won’t reveal too many details about his appearance until then.

Captain America: Brave New World is released on February 14, 2025.
