Harris, the campaign lands on WhatsApp but “only for Latin Americans” –

Greeted by a standing ovation at the Democratic convention in Chicago, US President Joe Biden formally passed the baton to Kamala Harris, reiterating the need to “save democracy” in the upcoming November elections. Meanwhile, the campaign of the vice president and Tim Walz continues and lands on WhatsApp, but only for Latino voters. Meta’s popular social messaging service makes its official debut in the US election campaign. At the moment, however, the only public channel active for a few days is dedicated exclusively to Latino voters.

Dem convention begins. Biden in tears hands over to Harris

A channel that also has a second peculiarity, to be evaluated in the coming weeks. The debut video, in fact, was not recorded by Kamala Harris or Tim Walz (as one might have expected), but by the communications manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez. A second video, directly in Spanish, was instead made by Miguel Cardona, Secretary of State for Education in the Biden Administration. According to what has been found, the channel currently has 1,815 subscribers.
