Harold Santiago mosquera, presented as a reinforcement of Ofi Crete FC of Greece | Colombians Abroad

‘Whoever they are going to give, they keep’, says the saying. And what life had prepared for Harold Santiago Mosquera was the long-awaited landing in European football, at 27 years of age.

The attacker who stood out in Millionaires and went straight to the MLS, to Dallas FC; to later end up in Pachuca and end up at Deportivo Cali in the last season, he went from suffering the bad streak of the former Betplay League champion and suffering the harsh economic crisis of the club, to signing in his first team on the Old Continent.

This Tuesday he was presented as reinforcement of OFI Crete FC of the Greek Super League, the same one in which his compatriot James Rodríguez competes.

“It was the opportunity to come to Europe, it is what one works for, we hope to work well to win a space and help the team achieve its objectives,” said the player from Buenaventura on the club’s social networks.

“It is a competitive league, with good players, I had already been following some games, I knew that James Rodríguez was here at Olympiacos, we hope to make Oficrete a more competitive club, I am very happy to face this challenge,” added the Colombian.

OFI Crete is not one of the protagonists, in fact it is in 11th place in the standings with 15 points, far behind Panathinaikos (42) and Olympiacos itself (35). But following this last year, it has undoubtedly been a big step for Mosquera, who now has a rematch in his hands.
