The fun celebration takes place during the Melbourne Stars-Perth Scooters battle in the BBL. Celebrations such as holding hands and hugging are banned on the grounds in the wake of the Kovid expansion. Instead, Melbourne Stars’ Pakistani star Harris Rauf celebrated in a different way.
Perth Scoochers’ Curtis Patterson was sent off in the third over. After taking the wicket, Rauf symbolically washed his hands with sanitizer and wore a surgical mask that he kept in his pocket.

IND vs WI | India – Windies T20 series; Thiruvananthapuram match may be postponed; Concerns regarding the spread of Kovid
The BCCI is reportedly preparing to reduce the number of venues for the India-West Indies ODI and T20 series. The BCCI is seriously considering cutting the venues as the number of Kovid cases in the country is on the rise and several states are once more tightening restrictions.
India will play three ODIs and one T20I between the West Indies. The series starts with an ODI on February 6 in Ahmedabad. The second and third ODIs will be played on February 9 in Jaipur and February 12 in Kolkata. The T20 series is scheduled to be played on February 15 in Cuttack, February 18 in Visakhapatnam and February 20 in Thiruvananthapuram.
However, if the BCCI decides to cut the venues, there are indications that Thiruvananthapuram (Green Field Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram) will miss the final match of the West Indies tour (Third T20). The increasing number of Kovid and Omikron cases in Kerala is also a challenge to the Thiruvananthapuram competition.
However, the BCCI has said that it has not yet made a final decision on whether to cut the venues. The final decision will be taken in the coming days following assessing the situation in the country.
